Ramada Plaza Bangkok Riverside Celebrates Earth Hour

Bangkok (Thailand) – March 25, 2016 (travelindex) – Guests from many nations staying at the Ramada Plaza Bangkok Menam Riverside hotel joined General Manager Klaus Sennik (centre right) on Saturday 19 March to support the Earth Hour global initiative on energy conservation. The hotel reduced power consumption significantly throughout the property by dimming lights and adjusting air conditioning settings.

Klaus Sennik said, “The response from our guests was amazing. They understood the importance of supporting Earth Hour. Our commitment to energy conservation is part of the Wyndham Group’s worldwide commitment to sustainability.

“We created a very romantic atmosphere in our Eurasian Grill with a candlelight dinner using 100 percent beeswax and soy candles that are smoke-free, non-toxic, non-allergenic and assessed to be carbon neutral.”
