Arnoma Grand Bangkok Hired Students of Prestigious Hotel Management School

Bangkok (Thailand) – January 28, 2017 (travelindex) – Arnoma Grand Bangkok is proud to announce that they have engaged two students of the prestigious Hotel Management School in Geneva, Marie de Freudenreich and Simon Corchia.

The school is specialised in hotel and restaurant management and forms the hoteliers of tomorrow. During the 3 years of studies consisting of 3 theoretical semesters and 3 practical semesters in companies, students learn the basics of hotel and catering, passing as well through marketing and accounting in addition to the management of catering and accommodation. These courses are exclusively taught by professionals of the relevant branches and thus prepare students to apply the knowledge learned during the theoretical semesters in practice during their internships in hotels and restaurants.

Arnoma Grand Bangkok’s Director of Operations, Mr. Eric Brand is a former graduate of the school and a school ambassador in Southeast Asia. He recently started to recruit students from Geneva in the Front Office and F&B departments to bring a different vision to the Hotel.

Marie and Simon have been working since November and will complete their internships in April 2017. They have chosen to work in Thailand to discover a new culture of hospitality and learn how a hotel works in a foreign country.

They work in the following positions within the hotel:
Marie works at the Front Office and also looks after the guest relationship for VIP clients. She ensures the proper allocation of rooms and makes sure the specific needs of customers are responded to promptly.

Simon assists the Food and Beverage Director of the hotel in the overall activities of his department, more particularly seeking to deliver excellence in the standard of service, food quality and presentation and constantly training the Food and Beverage staff in achieving optimum efficiency.

They both work in close collaboration with departments such as Marketing, Reservations, Catering and Housekeeping.
