You Care You Share – Promoting Health Tourism in Thailand
Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) invites travelers all around the world to join an activity ‘You Care You Share’ in Health and Wellness in Thailand Project to win health and wellness in Thailand with a total value of over 500,000 Baht.
As health tourism has been growing and earning a great amount of national income, it is a high-potential market that has drawn the global attention. Thailand is one among many countries that aim to promote the growth of health tourism as its products and services are outstanding in terms of the variety of treatments and standardized services as well as qualified staffs, all of which are ready to provide excellent services for travelers all around the world.
Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) has set its sight on health tourists to increase tourism income by raising awareness and building a good image of health and wellness in Thailand and its unique services, which conform to policy to promote Thailand as a regional hub of health tourism. Thailand is well-prepared in every aspect ranging from good services, variety of standardized healthcare providers to reasonable prices.
TAT has planned to publicize products and services about health and wellness in Thailand through online media on www.tourismthailand.org/healthandwellness to provide the said information so that it can be reached by travelers widely and quickly.
Meanwhile, in order to promote health tourism in Thailand, the Tourism Authority of Thailand has launched “Health and Wellness in Thailand” Project by inviting travelers all around the world to participate in an activity You Care You Share. Participants are only required to share a video clip on the website to their social medias, for example, Facebook , E-mail ,Google+ and they may win prizes with a total value of over 500,000 Baht.
To join the activity, participants need to register at www.tourismthailand.org/healthandwellness and fill out accurate information. Then, watch the video clip made by TAT about client’s experiences on health and wellness in Thailand. The video clip shows impressive experiences about healthcare as well as beauty services including Thai massage and spa by a number of foreigners. After watching the video clip, participants have to send it to their friends, families or acquaintances and persuade to watch and share it on social medias. The more times they share it the more chance they will get to win prizes. The participation period lasts until 31 October 2016.
The project will randomly draw prize winners, limited to the ones who have shared the video clip and filled out the required information completely. The prizes are as follows; 2 accommodation packages from top hotels and resorts like Thavorn Beach Village Resort & Spa, Phuket and The AETAS Bangkok, 1 health check-up package from a leading hospital BNH Hospital, and 13 Wellness & Spa packages from Dr. Orawan Holistic Beauty and Anti-Aging Institute, Nirunda Clinic, Radiant Medical Clinic, Bangkok Anti-Aging Center and RarinJinda Wellness Spa. The total prize value is over 500,000 Baht. The prize announcement will be made on 15 November 2016.
TAT has expected that You Care You Share will increase an awareness and emphasize Thailand’s role as one of the leading countries in health tourism to be better known among tourists around the world and also expected to gain a lot of attention and have quite a number of participants.
